Habari Web Components – performance test

In September, I did some performance tests of the Habari Web Components framework, version 2.0.1, with the Apache JMeter test tool on a system with modest hardware – a Core 2 Duo laptop with 2.1 GHz speed and 2 GB memory running Windows Vista. The Kitchensink demo server and the JMeter stress test application were both running on the same system.

With a simulated number of 100 concurrent clients, executing HTTP requests on the Kitchensink demo index page, the server continuously processed around 3000 to 5000 requests per minute. The average CPU load reached 60 to 75 percent during the tests.
